FRANCE
HOTEL DU CAP-EDEN ROC

Located on the sea in the fashionable resort area of Cap d’Antibes, just east of Juan-les-Pins in the center of the French Riviera with acres of park and botanical gardens is the famous dig of the rich and famous, one of the few full-facility resorts on the Cote d’Azur. The main hotel contains 90 guest rooms of varying sizes and decors, as well as four large suites. 32 very modern, large rooms are located at Pavilion Eden Roc directly overlooking the Mediterranean.

Although breakfast is served on a patio at the main hotel or in the hotel lobby area and a casual lunch, snacks and drinks are available by the pool, the only main restaurant with both indoor and terrace seating is at Pavilion Eden Roc offering excellent French cuisine with attentive service. The salt-water, infinity pool is built into the rocks in a cliff that drops into the sea. Water sports can be arranged. There is a tennis complex with five clay courts, and a fitness center with an exercise room, sauna, steam, and massage facilities.

Strong Points: An extremely elegant, sophisticated resort with posh accommodations, excellent dining, fine service in a chic Cote d’Azur setting on the sea.
