U.S. AND BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS
CANEEL BAY

This very casual, tropical beach resort located on a 170-acre estate with seven crescent-shaped beaches is one of the more pristine, beautiful properties in the world. The 166 air-conditioned, but modest, guest rooms are spread out in low buildings scattered throughout the grounds.

There are four dining venues, eleven tennis courts, a small fitness center and a children’s center, but no golf, swimming pool or spa. The main attraction for guests is to laze around on one of the picture-perfect beaches with a good book and to tune out the rest of the world.

Strong Points: Outstanding picturesque setting with great beaches in a casual, laid back setting. A good choice for honeymooners and busy executives seeking tranquility.
