THE RITZ-CARLTON RESORTS OF NAPLES

The 14-story, beach resort building, designed to look like a Mediterranean palace circa early 1900s is located on 20 acres of prime beachfront property on the Gulf of Mexico. With a traditional Ritz-Carlton interior including English antiques, expensive reproductions and 18th and 19th century art, the structure overlooks landscaped courtyards and sea gardens with panoramic views out to the Gulf. By contrast, the golf resort located in Tiburon, 3 ½ miles east of the beach resort, is nestled in a 700-acre residential/golfing community. Guests of both properties enjoy reciprocal privileges with bus service from 6 a.m. to midnight.

The 477 rooms and suites of the beach resort and 295 rooms and suites of the golf resort are all spacious and beautifully decorated. Guests at both resorts can choose among six different restaurants ranging from casual to elegant/gourmet. At the beach resort there are two swimming pools, a nice white-sand beach, a three-story, world-class spa and fitness center and tennis courts. The golf resort features two 18-hole, Greg Norman-designed, championships courses, a golf academy, a swimming pool, fitness center and children’s playground. Organized children’s programs are available at both resorts.

Strong Points: An elegant, full-facility resort with fine dining, superb service, great golf and sport facilities for the entire family.
